My apologies to Mitch Schauer and Victor Wilson.
Happy early Halloween, everybody!
This comic was so much fun to draw! I am very pleased with how it turned out. I hope you guys like it, too.
See also: Apparently Richard has a resistor in his hair… who knew?
All right, that is it for now. See you all Tuesday!
It is a two-for-one special tonight! Sort of like a drive-in double feature or something similar.
So, how was that for the exciting and climatic conclusion to Army of Dorkness? Pretty exciting and climatic, huh?
I’ll see you all Thursday with another Halloween-ish comic.
Bruce Campbell, eat your heart out.
I really do think that every library (or any public place for that matter) should have an emergency zombie survival kit. It should include a shotgun and shells, a chainsaw, a box of strike anywhere matches, something shiny, and a copy of Love Medicine by Louise Erdrich (for the purpose of killing brain cells).
So this button set that I have for sale happens to include “Evil Dead Richard” in pin form. I’m just sayin’ is all…
Halloween is coming up. What are you going to dress up as?
See you next week with the exciting conclusion of this three part Zombie epic!
Let the Halloween comics commence! Through the end of the month I will be posting Halloween related comics. This is part 1 of a 3 comic arc.
See also: Included in the Twelve Pin Set is a button featuring Mac the Zombie. I’m just sayin’ is all…
For reference: The library Steve and Richard work in uses the Library of Congress Classification System as opposed to the Dewey Decimal System. In the LCC, the PZs refers to the Children’s Literature section and, honestly, if I was going to misshelve the Necronomicon, I would obviously put it in Children’s Literature.
See you all Thursday with Part 2!
I am acting solely off of the assumption that the Empire’s library is little more than a Young Adult section as compared to the wikipedian depth of the Jedi Archives (and also off of the fact that Interstellar Smuggling is way too awesome of a career path, even for a Library Assistant.)
Did I mention the buttons? Because they are still there. While I can no longer offer the special 12 buttons for the cost of 6, I can now offer the 12 button pack! Which contains 4 buttons relating to upcoming comics!
They will look something like this:
Except the blurred ones won’t be quite nearly as blurred. The tweleve pin set will be selling for $7.50 plus shipping. Check the Merch Jockeys page to order!
And now a poll:
That is it for today. Next week begins a series of Halloween comics! I hope you enjoy it.
